Prof. Dr. Ingo Beyer von Morgenstern
Prof. Dr. Ingo Beyer von Morgenstern was a senior partner (Director) in McKinsey & Company's Shanghai office. He has been in China for the last 10 years, leading McKinsey’s Industrial and Technology Practice in Asia. Before that, he was in McKinsey’s Munich office, leading the High Tech Practice in Europe for almost a decade.  Prof. Dr. von Morgenstern is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable insiders of China’s industry and emerging Chinese companies with a truly unique perspective on what it takes for a Chinese Company to win the China and the global battle.

Prof. Dr. von Morgenstern has a Ph.D in process engineering from the Technical University in Munich, and an MBA from INSEAD. He has been teaching at the Technical University Munich until 2004 and for the last 9 years as Professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He has contributed to several books on China.


Dr. Stefan Albrecht
Dr. Stefan Albrecht was a senior partner (Director) in McKinsey & Company's Berlin office. Before transferring to Berlin, he worked in McKinsey's Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, and Munich offices. He was with McKinsey since 1994, has led country, regional, as well as global industry practices, and has served leading technology and automotive companies around the globe. More specifically, he has lived and worked in China for more than 15 years.

Dr. Albrecht has a 'Summa cum Laude' Ph.D in Business Administration from University of Goettingen (1994) and a Diploma "With Distinction" in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (1991). He is a scholar of the “Scholarship of the German Nation”.


Dr. Christopher Thomé
Dr. Christopher Thomé has over 20 years’ experience in Asset Management. Prior to founding asset management firm Thomé Asset Management & Asset Controlling (TAMAC) he was an Executive Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and later Director and Marketing Group Head Germany, Private Client Services, Credit Suisse First Boston, London.

Dr. Thomé has a Ph.D. in Mathematics, a Master of Business Administration from Hochschule St. Gallen and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Swiss Federal Institute of Engineering, Zürich.


Christine Blaurock
Mrs. Blaurock is a founding Partner of Thomé Asset Management & Asset Controlling. She is a member of TAMAC’s Investment Committee and has extensive experience in Asset Management and Compliance and Risk Management. Previously she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where she served major financial institutions.

Mrs. Blaurock has a Diploma "With Distinction" in Business Administration from the European Business School and is an Alumni of the University of Mannheim's Graduate College on “Incentives, Information, Decision and Allocation” where she did post graduate studies on Auction Theory and Game Theory.


MaryAnn Li
MaryAnn Li was an Associate Principal in McKinsey & Company's Beijing office. Before transferring to Beijing, she worked with Mercer Management Consulting in New York. Mrs. Li led McKinsey’s Venture Capital Practice in Asia and served major global as well as Chinese financial institutions including Private Equity and Venture Capital players.

Mrs. Li has a Diploma from Wellesley College and London School of Economics. She has lived and worked in Asia, more specifically in Beijing, Hong Kong and Taipei for more than 20 years.


Patrick Liu
Patrick Liu was a Knowledge Expert in McKinsey & Company's Shanghai office. He has been with McKinsey for 11 years, re-built and led McKinsey’s Greater China TMT, Industrial and BTO research teams around 2004-2006. With focus of TMT and Industrial industries and in-depth understanding of China and Chinese industries, Mr. Liu was one of the most senior researchers of the McKinsey China Knowledge Center and the McKinsey Global TMT Research Team.

Mr. Liu has a bachelor degree of Science from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Liu was a sales manager of Shihua International Financial Information, which was recognized as ‘the Chinese Reuters’, to provide end-to-end system for security and future players.
